HEMATOCRIT CENTRIFUGE (ABC-12MK)
Catalog No. Product Name
ABC-12MK Hematocrit Centrifuge
This manual contains information required to operate and maintain the ABC-12MK Capillary Blood centrifuge. If you require additional information regarding operation or maintenance, please contact us.
The instrument has an iron casing, with plastic sprayed surface. Thus, it is characterized by high rigidity, intensity, and corrosion resistance, simple structure, small size, lightweight and flexibility, low noise and temperature rise, high efficiency, security and stability. The instrument is applicable to assay with less samples and many procedures, especially to the research of gene and protein-nucleic acid; therefore, it has been widely applied in universities & colleges, scientific research institutes, pharmacy plants and healthcare agencies.
1. microprocessor control
2. touch panel
3. Adopt special vibration isolator for ideal effect of vibration damping and automatic balance
4. Equip PWM with high accuracy of speed control adjustment. The DC brushless motor meets the request of laboratory for no need to replace carbon brush and no carbon powder pollution
The equipment operates safely under these conditions:
1. Environmental temperature, 5-40℃
2. Relative humidity below 80%
3. Without conductive dust, explosive or corrosive gas
The centrifuge operates based on the centrifugal settling principle, which is, separating, concentrating or purifying the cells (particles) of different density.
Put symmetrically the centrifuge tubes filled with equivalent liquid into the test tubes in the rotor. The relative centrifugal force caused by the high-speed rotation of the rotor driven by motor, after the equipment is started, separates the cells (particles) of different density in the liquid. The relative centrifugal force depends on the horizontal distance between the sample position and the axis, i.e., rotation radius R and rev n. The calculation formula is as follows:
RCF=1.118×10-5n2R×g
n————rev (round/ minute)
R————Rotation radius (cm)
The times for separation and sedimentation of particles in the mixture, Ts, are calculated by the following formula:
where:
Rmax——–rotation radius of liquid at the farthest point from axis
Rmin——– rotation radius of liquid at the nearest point from axis
ρ————-mixture density (g/ cm3)
μ————-mixture viscidity(poise)
n————-rev (round/ minute)
r———– particle radius (cm)
б———- particle density (g/cm3)
